Many people are not familiar with the different parts of our body, especially the ear. One common question is what is the cochlea and that’s what we’re going to answer today. The cochlea is the part of the inner ear included in hearing. It is a spiral-shaped cavity in the bony labyrinth, in humans making 2.75 reverse its axis, the modiolus.
